New Year, New Carpet?
With Christmas fast approaching, many of us are just putting together the finishing touches ready for some well deserved time off over the festive period.
With time being spend at home, and certainly after all the celebrations have come to an end, many of us enter the new year wanting to make many changes. A clean fresh slate for the new year.

Firstly? The room. If you are looking to freshen up your living room, then often it’s a better idea to go for a more durable carpet that will last longer given the high traffic area. We would also often advise going for something such as an Everlon or Fiber synthetic carpet as these can be bleached & will generally take cleaning far better than the likes of wool.
If you are looking more so at an adult’s bedroom, then this is often a place where luxury comes into the equation. With far less traffic, a deeper pile in a bedroom will make the space much more relaxing, soft and plush. This is also a room where you could consider a natural woolen carpet if you desired something less synthetic.
Moving onto a child’s bedroom, now this is where the fun can really start, with a choice of brighter colours or even fun patterns suitable for a child of any age.
Another thing to think of, if you have pets, is durability and cleaning. The last thing you want is to get a gorgeously deep, woolen carpet in a darker colour if you have a long haired white dog. Again, with a synthetic blend carpet you have the option of easier cleaning without the worry of damaging the carpet or the colour.
